YOU CAN LIVE A HEALTHIER, HAPPIER, AND MORE balanced LIFESTYLE.
Becoming a bodywork professional has been a wonderful journey. It will be my honor to serve your massage therapy needs and to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
After spending over 20 years as a paramedic, I personally understand the emotional and physical benefits of massage therapy and bodywork. I have had my share of challenges and injuries from a physically demanding and stressful career in public safety and have relied on massage and bodywork for my own health and well being.
As a licensed graduate of the Cohutta Healing Arts Institute (CHAI) School of Massage, I am empowered by caring and knowledgeable instruction in the art of massage therapy. The superior Certification requirements at CHAI (50% more than state minimums) have helped me to establish a strong base of techniques and clinical experience to be confident in my abilities to meet the needs of a variety of clients.

Patricia Babin has loved to use her hands to heal since she was young. Always the one to have her hands on another’s shoulders to ease some discomfort, her family regarded her as the one with “the touch.” Her college years were spent in nursing school, but she quickly realized that the hospital and medical arena were not her calling after all. Even so, she never lost the desire to nurture and care for those around her.
After spending many years in business and the interior design profession, she came to realize that there was more she could be doing to serve the world. Her education in complementary and healing arts began in the year 2000 when she joined the Dahn Yoga program and completed the Dahn Healer School Professional Course. It was during this time that she came to know Dr. Mark Armstrong of Ahimki Center for Wholeness and enrolled in his Ahimki Institute of Holistic Theology for naturopathic studies.
Having received her 2nd degree Reiki attunements and being introduced to the many aspects of holistic healing, she graduated Valedictorian of her class after 3 years of study and then proceeded to engage her studies with the Jin Shin Do Foundation to become registered as a Jin Shin Do BodyMind acupressurist.
Her subsequent certification as an Asian Bodywork Therapist with the National Council for the Certification of Asian and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) rounded out her education in the field of acupoint and five element theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Patricia graduated Cohutta Healing Arts Institute in 2014, and is licensed through the state of Georgia as a Professional Massage Therapist. (GA Lic # MT009986)
As a yoga instructor and an ordained minister through the Universal Brotherhood Movement, Patricia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to assist her clients in their own personal path to health.
“I was involved in a car accident a few years ago that caused damage to the muscles in and around my rib cage. My treatment consisted of chiropractic care and massage therapy. The treatment made such a difference in my life that I decided I wanted to learn how to make that kind of difference in the lives of others.”
